The new X7 team arrives

The first of the latest X7 recruits arrives at the planet Novaeus at the run down facility that they would be housed in, Ky Kiske, the last of the former X7 team and their senoir X7 officer stood at the landing site awaiting the new recruit. He sighed to him as he slowly flipped through his bible "O loving and kind God, have mercy. Have pity upon me and take away the awful stain of my transgressions. Oh, wash me, cleanse me from this guilt. Let me be pure again. For I admit my shameful deed-it haunts me day and night. It is against you and you alone I sinned and did this terrible thing. You saw it all, and your sentence against me is just. Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires. Don’t toss me aside, banished forever from your presence. Don’t take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you."

A while later, Ky would see a tall man in the distance, walking towards him. The man is wearing dark clothing and an old, tattered cape that flaps about in the wind and has a rather large sword on his back. He has a rather stern expression and brown hair that covers part of his face.

Ky looks up and closes the bible with a thud and sighs again shaking his head "Xerxes the type 6 i assume?" he said sounding forced and angry he even had to speak to anyone.

"My my, aren't we friendly?..." he responds. "And yes, my name is Xerxes..."

He looked him in the eye and said very monotone and calm "No, not really, and welcome to our lovely home" he said lovely sarcastically "Your room is inside, Agan, our Genesis Corp representative will lead you to it. Go with god, dont die to quickly." after this he mumbled under his breath "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust..."

He goes inside and looks around, "Tch... Lovely... Yeah..." he scoffs. He looks around for Agan.

Agan was standing up on top of a hanging walk away above the main entrance room of the facility, he smiled and yelled down "Hey! your the first new X7 to arrive, welcome to Nova! My name is Agan Arkius, your the type 6 right?"

He thinks, "He seems... cheerful." then nods at Agan, "Yes, Xerxes is the name." He then glances in the direction of Ky, "Is he always this pleasant?..." he says sarcastically.

Agan smiles "Welcome Xerxes, and no most of the time he is much less social. He never used to be like this until...well youll here about that when the others get here and your briefed on why your X7 team was sent her ahead of schedule and as a replacement team, not a team to reinforce."

He nods, "Alright then... Until the others get here, can I wait in my room?"

Agan nodded "Of course, follow the red arrows on the floor to the housing area and your room will be marked with your name. It'll be very basic at this point, a bed and a bathroom. Thats all you get at this point."

"I don't mind..." He walks away from Agan, following the arrows to the housing area and then to his room.

Ky sat outside still awaiting the other subjects, he hated this job and still muttered as he read his bible.

A young woman with white hair and soft red eyes silently walked into the room, going directly to Ky and standing mute at his desk, waiting for him to respond.

Ky looked up at her barely noticing she was there until she was right infront of him. "Hello....you are?" he sighed setting his bible down.

"Clover." She said, plainly and quickly. "Clover Di Novis."

He looked up and said her name quickly just like she did "Well Clover, what type are you?" he stared at her with cold icy uncaring eyes.

Her eyes narrowed slightly, shooting off tiny sparks as she said "I'm a level 7. Now, as much as I hate to take you away from your ever-so-important reading, I would find it quite nice if you told me where I'm supposed to be staying tonight."

He nodded toward the door "Go through their find Agan arkius, he will show you." he looked back at her as she walked through "Im really going to hate these people.." he sighed as he waited for the next person.

Clover quietly investigated the room, running a pale white hand over the furniture. It felt...sad, somehow. If that was possible. Sitting down on a chair, she took a deep breath in, absorbing the room.

He saw her and smiled looking down from the same hanging platform he was on before "Hey there pretty lady! Your clover am i right?"

She jumped a little in her chair. "Erm...yes. What's your name?"

He smirked "The name is Agan Arkius! Your one of the new X7s right?"

She nodded and stood up. "Yes, I am. It's very nice to meet you. Am I the first one here, or am I late?"

He shook his head "Not late but not not first. One other person arrived just before, he went to his reason. Type 6 named Xerxes."
